A water soluble formulation for administration to cattle, sheep and goats via the drinking water, Tetraplex 30 is indicated for nematode infections of the respiratory and gastro-intestinal tract in cattle, sheep and goats, in particular Thrichostrongylus spp, Ostertagia spp, Oesophagostomum spp, Nematodirus spp, Protostrongylus spp, and Dictyocaulus spp.

Dosage and Use:

Cattle:                  3.50g - 5.00g per 100kg bodyweight

Sheep and goats:    0.25g - 0.30g per 10kg bodyweight

Contra-indications and Warnings

1. Tetraplex 30 is safe for the use in cattle, sheep and goats at the recommended dosage. Care should be taken to estimate carefully the bodyweight of animals to be treated.

2. If the recommended dosages are exceeded animals may exhibit signs of impaired motor function such as muscle tremor and increased salivation which are of a temporary nature.

3. Animals should not be treated with products containing organophosphorus compounds or diethycarbamazine during or within 14 days before or after treatment with tetramisole.
