A sterile solution for use against severe bacterial infections, and infections caused by organisms resistant to other antibiotics.
Gentamicin is a broad spectrum antibiotic of high efficacy against a wide range of gram (+)
positive and gram (-) negative bacteria, including urinary tract and respiratory infections, gastro-intestinal, skin and tissue, and uterus infections.

Warnings:
Do not use in known cases of renal impairment.
Treatment should not exceed 5 days without biochemical confirmation of normal renal function.
Do not use in pregnant animals.
A longer dosing interval should be considered immediately prior to anaesthesia since halothane significantly increases the half-life of gentamicin.
Do not use in known cases of sensitivity to gentamicin.
