A water dispersible powder for use with poultry and pigs in drinking water or via the feed.
The active ingredients Trimethoprim and Sulphadiazine give broad spectrum antibacterial activity by a double blockade of bacterial metabolism.
In combination the two ingredients have a specifically synergistic effect so that they act even against those organisms that are less sensitive to sulphonamides.
Cotrim 720W acts on a wide range of gram (+) positive and gram (-) negative bacteria including bordetella, corynebacterium, e-coli, haemophilus, klebsiella, pasteurella, staphylococcus, streptococcus, salmonellosis and secondary bacterial infections associated with viral respiratory disease and mycoplasmosis.
In sows Cotrim 720W can be used for the treatment of mastitis, metritus and agalactia (MMA) of bacterial origin.
