Ancotryp is a mixture of diminazene diaceturate and antipyrine.
Diminazene is highly active against Trypanosoma spp., Babesia
spp. and Theileria annulata.
Antipyrine is active against fever especially in cases of Babesiosis.

Dosage And Administration:
Dissolve 1 sachet (2.36g) in 12.50ml of sterile water to obtain a 7% aqueous solution.
Administer by deep intramuscular injection.
Use solution within 2-3 days.

Adverse Reactions:
Transient local reactions may appear at the injection site.
Dogs and camels are very sensitive to diminazene-toxicity.
Overdoses or multiple doses may cause severe nervous disturbances and hepatotoxic reactions.
It is advised to use lower dosage rates in these species.
Precautions:
Where volume to be injected exceeds 20ml, administer into two injection sites.
