A stable sterile injectable solution containing 100mg/ml Oxytetracycline HCl B.P. for use against a wide range of Gram (+) positive and Gram (-) negative bacteria, certain rickettsiae and the larger viruses. 

Indicated in the treatment and control of a wide range of common systemic, respiratory, gastro-intestinal, urinary and local infections caused by or associated with organisms sensitive to Oxytetracycline.

Composition: 

Dosage and Administration:
By intramuscular injection, daily for 3-5 days.
Normal aseptic precautions should be observed.

Cattle, Pigs & Sheep: 
10mg equivalent of oxytetracycline hydrochloride/kg bodyweight
i.e. 5ml Ancomycin 100 per 50kg bodyweight. 
Where large volumes are to be injected it is recommended that two separate sites be used.

Warnings:
General toxicity is low although collapse has been reported with tetracycline in weak and debilitated animals.
Not recommended for cats, dogs or horses.
The use of tetracycline during the period of tooth development, including late pregnancy, may lead to tooth discolouration.
Not for use in ewes producing milk for human consumption.
Do not dilute.
